  • Veronica has painted the story of Mina Mina. This is her mother's country; her mother is Sarah Daniels (dec). In the centre of the painting is a rockhole, around it, people are sitting (depicted by the 'Ú' shapes). These people have walked all around that country, looking around at the country. From the rockhole that they sit around, they collect water to drink and put it in their coolamon's. These are depicted by the two more circular shapes near the people. Veronica has used diferrentiating dot work and an array of bright colours to depict the abundance of mangarri (bush food) that can be found near the central rockhole and the others that surround the outside of teh painting. These bush foods include bush bananas and (kumpupatja (bush tomato).
