Latisha is the daughter of artist Theresa Nowee (dec), she is part of an esteemed painting family, grandaughter of the late Brandy Tjungurrayi and Nowee Nangala, and the niece to Frances and Geraldine Nowee. This painting is a story of her grandmother’s country located near Wirrimanu (Balgo). Reflecting the landscape, Latisha depicts Tjurnu, a sacred rock hole surrounded by features of the land including spinifex grasses and desert trees. This country also nurtures readily found bush-tucker – Pura (bush tomatoes), Kantijilyi (raisins) and delicious blackberries.

All works will be sent 1 June 2022. All artworks and/or items are sent via either Australia Post Courier or Startrack Courier. Due to our remote nature all mail is sent out on a once weekly mail-plane and then onto its perspective courier for delivery. Thus, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times, but usually artworks and/or items reach their destination within 5-10 working days. If you need a work by a specific date please call to inform us and we will do our best. Please clearly nominate your delivery address including any addition information needed. If we are sending to your office, please ensure you let us know your opening times.
