They bin come in the early days with all the nuns and priests and missionaries.  Me and my two sisters came in with one husband from the desert.  I was a young girl then. I bin bring my two kids, Bali and Namingie.  We started living here at the mission.  We came with no clothes, and we started learning how to work like white fella.  We worked for food, not wangku (money).  We got flour, jugarr (sugar) and tea leaves (parrka).
