Maxine Charlie
Nagula Jarndu Women's Resource CentreMaxine is a Yawuru-Bunuba woman based in Broome. Her
artwork draws on her cultural knowledge with much of her
work focused on important native plants and animals. Maxine’s
is often commissioned to create art for public pieces. Her
art can be seen all around Broome including the China Town
Revitalisation project, Town Beach jetty and Horizon Power office.
