Lorraine Hunter

Nagula Jarndu Women's Resource Centre

Lorraine is a Yawuru artist and spent her childhood travelling between
Derby and Broome. She now lives permanently in Broome.
She has practised with Nagula Jarndu for several years, and has studied visual arts
and worked in archives at the Berndt Museum, University of Western Australia.
Lorraine enjoys fishing, family time and being productive in her local community.
Her influences are native Kimberley plants as well the abundant coastal life on
offer in Yawuru, Saltwater country.
