Liza Walsh
Wirnda Barna Art CentreLiza Walsh has Ngarluma and Noongar heritage and grew up in Cue. Liza lives in Mount Magnet with her husband and children and began her art practice in 2010. Liza likes “exploring colours” and particularly mixing her own. She has developed a distinct palette of subtle, muted colours often contrasting with bold rusty reds and oranges which she uses to depict the Country and landmarks around the Upper Murchison region of Western Australia. Liza paints at the Wirnda Barna Art Centre and enjoys the sense of relaxation that her practice brings her.
