Maruku ArtsJason Mitchell is wati Anangu, a Pitjantjatjara man who has spent most of his life in Kaltukatjara (Docker River) west of Uluru in the far south corner of the Northern Territory. He began painting and carving with Maruku in 2014 and his individual style has already seen his work selected for several exhibitions. He brings a creative imagination to the traditional skills passed on to him through the Tjukurpa, the Law and way of life governing his country.
