Adele Jennings

Adele Jennings, born Adele Hunt, is minyma Yarnangu, a Western Desert Aboriginal woman from a strong family of artists. Her skills have been passed on through the Tjukurpa, the Law and way of life governing her country.

Adele was born in Warburton. She grew up and went to school in Blackstone. She went to High School in Wongatha CAPS. In 1997 she moved to Warburton and lived here ever since. She has three children with Brett Jennings.

She learned her carving skills from her mother and other family members. She only started carving her own works after she was  encouraged by her partner Brett.
