Presented on Whadjuk Country by Fremantle Arts Centre since 2016, Revealed celebrates the breadth and vibrancy of Aboriginal arts practice in WA.
The program showcases the most exciting new and emerging Aboriginal artists from all over the state, connecting them with a metropolitan Perth audience through a prestigious exhibition and art market. Revealed also includes a series of professional development workshops for Aboriginal artists and art centre staff.
Originally conceived to support WA’s remote and regional Aboriginal Art Centres, Revealed has expanded in recent years to include a growing number of independent artists.
The Revealed WA Aboriginal Art Market is now one of the highlights on the Perth arts calendar, attracting thousands of visitors each year and generating more than half a million dollars in revenue. 100% of all Revealed Market sales return to the artists and art centres.
Sadly cancelled in 2020 due to COVID, this year’s Revealed WA Aboriginal Art Market is an online event to ensure it goes ahead. We are excited to share these uniquely Western Australian artworks with a national audience.
The Market brings together 26 Aboriginal Art Centres and independent artists and is the only opportunity to purchase works directly from these artists, in one place.
The stunning selection of artworks share stories of Country and culture in a range of mediums including paintings, textiles, carved artefacts, homewares, prints, clothing, ceramics, jewellery and more.
